Cadillac-Lyriq Noire

An electric car makes no sound, so the film had to. We built the entire soundtrack from room tone, tyre contact and breath — then cut the picture to that, not the other way round.

01THE SCORE

SOUND FIRST

We started in the studio, not on the road. By constructing the audio landscape first, we established a strict rhythm for the edit. Silence wasn't an absence of noise; it became the core feature of the Cadillac Lyriq.

A Cadillac Lyriq driving through a dark, moody forest with a silhouetted figure in the foreground.
Setting the scene: A silent glide through the woods, driven by the audio landscape.
02THE PURSUIT

CHASING GHOSTS

Shooting an EV at high speeds requires specialized tracking vehicles. The camera movements were designed to feel like a predator gliding through the forest — smooth, calculated, and completely silent.

Dynamic motion blur shot of the Cadillac Lyriq speeding through a forest, highlighting its distinct red taillights.
Using slow-shutter tracking to capture the silent, ghost-like speed of the vehicle.

Sound-first edit. The board was scored before it was shot, and every camera move was timed to a beat that already existed. Silence became the product feature.

It’s a demonstration of custom design and engineering — the work is spec, and the brands shown belong to their owners.
