Elixir-L'Alchimie

A fragrance is a claim about time. We built the film around a single unbroken pour — glass, resin and light behaving like a slow chemical argument — and let the product arrive only once the eye had already accepted the ritual.

01The Build

The Build

Creating a seamless single take meant engineering a bespoke rig. The set was stripped down to the bare essentials: a macro lens, precise lighting, and the natural physics of the liquid.

We spent days testing the exact viscosity of the formula to ensure the pour matched the rhythm of the camera movement. There was no room for error, and no safety net of post-production cuts.

02ON SET

ON SET

Capturing the perfect flow required over 40 takes. The interaction between the amber liquid and the custom glassware was orchestrated to the millisecond, resulting in a mesmerizing visual loop.

The final grade was applied not to alter the reality of the pour, but to elevate its natural amber richness against the muted, cinematic background

A note on this piece

L’Ombre isn’t a real studio.

It’s a demonstration of custom design and engineering — the work is spec, and the brands shown belong to their owners.
